Great Chebeague Tennis Club (GCTC) is located on Chebeague Island, Maine
and features two clay tennis courts.
We are a private club that welcomes new members and guest players!

LOCATION: The tennis club is next to the golf course and near the intersection of North and South Roads on Chebeague Island, Maine.
2020 SEASON: We plan to open ONE of the clay courts on approximately June 15, 2020.
HOURS: Weather permitting, the courts are open 7 days a week from 8 am to dusk. Courts are closed if it's raining or if they are too soft/wet from prior rain.
RESERVATIONS: ** NEW ** for the summer of 2020, we will be using an online reservation system for members to reserve courts. More information to follow.
The operation and maintenance of the GCTC is only possible through the support of our members. Thank you members!
We offer several types of annual memberships for families and individuals, including short-term visitors to the island.

Great Chebeague Tennis Club was founded on July 1, 1972 by a dedicated group of people who wanted to create a place for their families and friends to play tennis on Chebeague Island.
Is there a dress code?
No, but players must wear tennis sneakers.
I'm not a member, can I use the courts?
Summer 2020 - The court may only be used by club members and their guests (who can play with a member for $10 per hour)

The tennis court may be used by club members and their guests. THE COURT IS NOT OPEN TO DROP-IN PLAY BY NON-MEMBERS.
No one should play if feeling unwell or if they (or anyone in their household) has arrived from out-of-state and is quarantining for the required 14 days
The court must be reserved online - more information to be provided soon
Singles and doubles will be allowed, and players should attempt to maintain physical distance as much as possible.
Each player should bring their own marked tennis balls for their service game.
Members will not sweep or have access to the court brushes
We will not be holding any social or group activities (including the weekly scrambles) for the foreseeable future
